Olas Peru Surf Travel provides a number of options for those wanting to get a taste for surfing, taking a 2 hour or one day lesson at or near Lima, to a full two week expedition of the best surfing spots along the central and northern coast of Peru. Home to world champion Sofia Mulanovic, Olas Peru prides itself in bringing guides who have been surfing the Pacific Coast and around the world for many years. They are experienced guides who will be able to determine based on swell, tide and weather conditions the best and safest options for your experience level.

All transportation is done in Olas Peru's private bus, except for where flights are specified. A Toyota Hilux 4x4 is used on groups 4 and smaller, and Mercedes vans for larger groups. All tours run year-round.

Prices do not include the cost of meals and all accomodations are 3-star hotels.

Tour 1: Lonely Barrels
14 Days, 13 Nights
A treat for the die-hard surfer, this trip through the central & northern Peruvian coast will take you from desert sunny roads to isolated surf points with incredible waves. In this surf adventure you do not need to compromise as you will get to taste all of the highlights. You start in Centinela, then Huanchaco, where you will see the ‘caballitos de totora’, boats similar in shape to surfboards but made from ‘Totora’ cane, also used in Lake Titicaca. This impressive traditional way of fishing is still practiced by locals and the design of their boats has not changed in 3000 years. In Chicama you will surf the world’s longest left, in Pacasmayo you will surf a classical long wave and in Mancora, a surfer’s paradise, you will experience perfect conditions with its sunny weather and warm waters all year round.

Day 1 Lima: Transfer to your hotel and briefing on the surf tour.
Day 2 Centinela: Morning departure to Centinela. First session at this isolated surf point after settling in to the Surf Camp, a comfortable lodge with bungalows and private bathrooms.
Day 3 Huanchaco: After an early session, continue trip North for 2 hours and make a stop in Bermejos Beach for another surfing session at this long and perfect left. Arrive in Huanchaco by night.
Day 4 Huanchaco: All day surfing at this point-break. At night you can explore the local night scene.
Day 5 Chicama: Early departure to the famous Chicama Point, where the rest of the day is spent.
Day 6 Pacasmayo: Travel to Pacasmayo in the morning a classical and very long wave Lunch and rest before a late surfing session.
Day 7 Pacasmayo: Full day of surfing.
Day 8 Mancora: After an early session in Pacasmayo area, travel to Mancora, an area that features warm waters and sunny weather all year round.
Day 9 Mancora: Full day of surfing. Location dependent on surfing conditions.
Day 10 Mancora: Full day of surfing. Location dependent on surfing conditions.
Day 11 Mancora: Full day of surfing. Location dependent on surfing conditions.
Day 12 Pacasmayo: Last day of surfing in Mancora. Afternoon departure to Pacasmayo.
Day 13 Lima: Afternoon arrival to Lima. Free afternoon to explore the city.
Day 14 Lima: Departure day. End of services. Mahalo!

- 1 night at Centinela Surf Camp.
- 2 nights in beach Hostel at Huanchaco.
- 1 nights in beach Hostel at Chicama beach.

- 3 nights at a beach Hostel in front of Mancora´s point

Tour 2: Peru Surfari
8 Days, 7 Nights
This is a shorter version of the Lonely Barrels tour, following a similar itinerary except for the stop in Centinela and spending one night in Mancora.

Prices: From US$1442 per person (group of 2) to US$650 per person (group of 10)

Tour 3: Chicama Dreams
8 Days, 7 Nights
This is a shorter version of the Lonely Barrels tour, except you don't go to Mancora and spend more time in Chicama (3 nights). You will spend three days surfing at Chicama Point, the world’s longest left break, at almost 2km long. This wave is so long it breaks for a full three minutes, and motorcycle cabs wait at the end of the break to give you a ride back to the beginning (to save you from walking 15 minutes).

Prices: From US$1360 per person (group of 2) to US$430 per person (group of 10)

Tour 4: Naylamp Surfing Adventure
7 Days, 6 Nights
This is a great trip for surfers looking to also have a cultural and educational experience. In this trip you will learn about the Peruvian coastal culture, experience some great surfing, visit select restaurants and discover the origins of surfing. Spend 7 days of surfing as well as visiting the ancient Temples of Huacas del Sol y La Luna from the Mochica Culture near Huanchaco. In Lambayeque you will visit the museum “Tumbas Reales del Señor de Sipán”, a Moche archaeological site important due to the intact state in which it was discovered. You will see a surfing exhibition with the ancient ‘caballitos de totora’, invented by the Mochica 3000 years ago. These are boats similar in shape to surfboards used to surf waves and still in use today by local fishermen.

Includes: domestic flights Lima/Trujillo/Lima and all transfers.
Does not include: lunches and dinners, entrance tickets for archeological sites and museums, airport taxes.

Day 1 Lima: Transfer to hotel and briefing on the surf tour.
Day 2 Lima/Huanchaco: Transfer to airport and flight to city of Trujillo. Transfer to “Hostal Bracamonte”, dinner at “El Colonial“
Day 3 Huanchaco/Chicama: Early morning surf in Huanchaco. Lunch at local seafood restaurant followed by visit to “Huacas del Sol y de la Luna”. Transfer to Chicama, “Hotel los Delfines”.
Day 4 Chicama/Pacasmayo: Early morning surf session in Chicama. After lunch head to Pacasmayo, “Hotel Pakatnamu”. Surf in the afternoon and dinner in a local seafood restaurant.
Day 5 Pacasmayo/Lambayeque/Pacasmayo: After an early session in Pacasmayo travel 1 ½ hours north to Lambayeque to visit the museum “Tumbas Reales del Señor de Sipán”, to appreciate a PreInca culture. Lunch in a local seafood restaurant followed by return to Pacasmayo for a late surf session.
Day 6 Pacasmayo/Huanchaco/Lima: Very early surf in Pacasmayo. After breakfast, transfer to Huanchaco. Lunch followed by a Totora seahorse surf exhibition. Transfer to airport to travel back to Lima. Upon arrival you will be transferred to you hotel, overnight in Lima.
Day 7 Lima: Departure day.

- 1 night at 3 stars “Hostal los Delfines” in Chicama
- 2 nights in 3 star sea front hotel in Pacasmayo
- 2 nights in a centrally located 3 stars hostel in Miraflores District in Lima

Tour 5: Learn to Surf Programs
You can get a taste for surfing in Peru and work on your skills without going very far from Lima. You can either do a two hour lesson, surfing in the beaches nearby La Costa Verde in Miraflores, (Price: US$60 per person for groups of 2) or you can spend a full day going to a beach south of Lima (Price: US$100 per person for groups of 2, US$52 per person for groups of 10).
