Description
This friendly, quaint restaurant was established by four women of the Perea-Sobrevilla, families joined by their passion for food and inspired by the secret recipes of their great-grandmothers and parents, some dating to 1830, which they have modernized for today’s kitchen. They serve 3 menus each day, all offering home-made Peruvian style cuisine, like stuffed avocadoes, causa and ocopa. The décor is simple, in brown and burgundy colours, large windows, and some country home accents as well as tasteful photographs of Peru.
The prices are very affordable at S/.20 for starter, main, dessert and chicha or lemonade. The average price for a la carte dishes is S/.30 and they also offer a children’s menu. A short wine list is available. Enjoy their complimentary toast with cheese and jams (pepper and fig are some popular choices) while you wait for your food.
Insider Tips
Come here at tea time for their delicious cakes and coffee. Their preservative-free jams can be purchased to take home.
