Description
Daniel Concha is a native Peruvian – born and raised in the jungle near Quillabamba. Today Daniel lives with his extended family in the barriadas outside of Cusco. Fluent in English, Daniel is a wealth of knowledge on Andean culture and Peruvian traditions. He has been a guide for several years and specializes in off-the-beaten path tours. He has also built a small hostal on the property where he lives, where travelers can hang their hats and get a feel for day-to-day life in a Mestizo family.

Here is a sample of the types of tours that Daniel provides, however you can structure the tour as you wish and specify on the number of days you prefer:

Tour 1: 10-day Tour
Day One - Arrival to the airport of Cusco and transfer to your elected Hotel, lunch and PM. City Tour.

Day two - After breakfast, all day tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Pisac Market, Inca cemetary of Pisac, 02 hrs. hike, then lunch in Urubamba, continue to visit the Archeological site of Ollantaytambo, over night in Urubamba or Ollantaytambo , or camp optional meals in the camp or in the restaurants.

Day three - After breakfast, drive to Quillabamba for 04 hrs. lunch, and visit the farm lands with coffee, cacao, coca and tropical fruits, and to have the experience of the process of the coffee and cacao. Camp at Daniel’s place in the jungle outside the town of Quillabamba.

Day four - After breakfast, will drive 01 hr. to the beginning of our hike, hike for 05 to 06 hrs. each day. Travelers will carry only their day packs, and will have to bring only their mattress and sleeping bags, the mules will carry all our camping gear, we have a cook too.

Day five - After breakfast hike to the next camp site.

Day six - Same as day five.

Day seven - Hike for 04 hrs. to Vilcabamba, lunch there. Visit the Archeological site of Rosas Pata and Ñusta Hispana, dinner and camp.

Day eight - Drive to Santa Teresa and the last train station km. 122 (hidroelectric), walk for 2hrs. or take the train for 30 minutes to Aguas Calientes, hot springs, dinner and over night in AC.

Day nine - Early bus ride to see the sun rise in Machupicchu, tour in Machupicchu, lunch and then train back to Ollantaytambo, and then the bus will be waiting for us to take us to Cusco, dinner, over night in your Hotel.

Day ten - Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima.
