Description
Located just a few blocks away from the San Blas neighbourhood, Pekys Sandwiches has quickly gained a reputation for serving the best sandwiches in town. Owner-operated by Peky (ex-barman from the famous Inca Grill restaurant on the main square) and his wife Katia, this place is a great option for those on a moderate budget with an appetite for juicy, generous, gourmet, super tasty sandwiches accompanied with the best gravies and Peruvian sauces.

Peky and Katia have transformed the first floor of their home into a nice, cozy, dining area with an impeccable counter-top bar and stools. Behind the counter, Peky himself will prepare his delicious and enormous sandwiches (their bread comes from the famous Cicciolina) to the rhythm of some fine reggae. We recommend their ‘aji de gallina’ sandwich (9 soles), turkey sandwich (7 soles), tenderloin/cheese and mushrooms ( 9soles). They also have great options for vegetarians: cheese, asparagus and mushrooms (8 soles), aubergine, zucchini and red peppers with olive oil (9 soles)…also ask for their special of the day – when we were there they had ‘shrimp and avocado’ (10 soles).

Insider Tips
Peky and Katia also have their own clothes design business, working with the finest cotton...ask them to show you their creations!
