After only four years in business, Mundo Hemp is a favourite among vegetarian travellers, looking to enjoy local flavours while staying healthy... ideal for vegetarians, though their alpaca and poultry dishes are also worth trying! Located in Qanchipata street, 2 blocks away from San Blas Plazoleta, this restaurant offers a variety of soups, including carrot and ginger or lentil with vegetables (10 soles), a Hemp salad with chicken, lettuce, caramelized onions, and croutons (16 soles), and special hemp bean burritos (16 soles), among other healthy dishes.
The base of all Mundo Hemp's dishes are hemp products - seeds, oil and flour - infused with other natural ingredients. The lounge ambiance and outdoor patio are both perfect to enjoy their medicinal and herbal teas (3-6 soles) like the 'mundo hemp infusion' with ginger, rosemary, honey and lemon, coca and muņa, relaxing tea with chamomile and mint, or their goodbye cough' infusion with oregano, time, ginger and lemon, all these can be accompanied by their homemade cookies and pies (3 - 7 soles).
