Description
The first restaurant in Cusco to offer Peruvian Haute Cuisine, Don Esteban y Don Pancho…Piscos y más is located behind Cusco’s Main Square in Portal Espinar. This is Edgar Ojeda’s third restaurant in Cusco– he has a great coffee shop of the same name on El Sol Av. (across from the post office) and another restaurant on La Cultura Av.
Providing a minimalist atmosphere and first-class service, this place offers the opportunity to enjoy the largest selection of Pisco drinks in town – try their Lucumoso, a cocktail made of Lúcuma (tropical fruit with creamy texture and soft sweet flavour) and the famous Pisco. Their dishes are beautifully presented and served in generous portions. For starters we recommend their Marine Trilogie – three ‘causitas’ with shrimp, trout and shellfish (28 soles), or their Tiradito de Pejerrey, a type of ceviche with finely sliced fish but no onions. As main course, consider their Arroz Apaellado con Culantro - a Peruvian paella in a coriander sauce (38 soles)- or their Rocoto Relleno -stuffed chili with fried cheese and potato pie (32 soles).
Probably the best choice in Cusco to try Peruvian Cuisine.
