Description
This Italian-run restaurant is the local ‘go-to’ destination for Italian food. The menu is extensive with an everything-under-the-Italian-sun selection including pizzas, pastas and Hero Sandwiches such as the Polpette (meatballs, tomato sauce, mozzarella and parmesan). There has been an 'interesting' attempt at decor with red checkered tablecloths and old-school bottles of Chianti adorning the tables. Empty wine bottles line the walls, despite a small wine list. Italian music pipes through the background...almost droning out the sound of the air conditioner. However, the wholesome and hearty food makes up for the lack of ambience, as does the pleasant service. Daily Menu Q58 - 70, Seafood Q95 - 145, Pizzas (3 sizes) Q60-100. Portions are very large.
