Description
Common Hope, a local non-profit organization, provides free, 90 minute tours to visit the village of San Pedro, just minutes outside of Antigua.

Tour 1: Village of San Pedro
This tour is a great opportunity to see some of the challenges that Guatemalans face every day. You will spend time in the home of a family who will share with you a little bit about their daily lives and get to know the local community, where you will experience the activity in the town center and see educational programs put into action. You then visit Common Hope’s Family Development Center, where you will witness volunteers and staff ministering to the education and health care needs of Antigua’s surrounding communities. The tour ends back at Central Park.

Tours meet in Antigua’s central park, next to the fountain: Mondays at 10:00 am and Thursdays at 2:30 (except holidays) or call 7922-6600 (ask for hospitality) to arrange a private tour.
