Description
If you are in the mood for an elegant meal and international cuisine, Nicolas is the top choice in Antigua. The menu offers “lifestyles of the rich and famous” staples including escargot and Pate de foie gras, but also features a wide selection of pastas and salads. The Norwegian salmon and Fettuccine Vongole (with clams) are delicious and for Q.130 are not a bad deal. This restaurant also has a very large wine selection ranging from Q.180-Q.2200, depending on your taste and pockets. The restaurant occupies a historic mansion where, in 1744, Dr. Avalos y Porras demonstrated for the first time in America the circulation of the blood. This has little to do with the décor today, which is modern and bright, while respecting the original architecture of the mansion.
