Barra Brasa

Brazil > Rio de Janeiro > Restaurants > Barra Brasa

Description
If you are seeking the defining carnivore experience, Barra Brasa, South Rio’s best churrasco restaurant, is the place to go for the best meat, the best cut, the best service, the best quality but also at a reasonably high price. It is also one of the biggest churrasco houses in the city, two stories high (diners on the first floor, those waiting with envy on the second floor where the children’s playground is). Known for their efficient service, the staff here is enthusiastic about pleasing clients. Happy to bring plates of food from the buffet to their lazier clientele, they will also invent dishes or cuts of meat to satisfy the most discriminating diner. Rodizio meal is R$60 per person (discounts for children under the age of 10). If you’re a meat-lover (as 9 out of 10 Cariocas are), Barra Brasa is the place for you.

Insider Tips
A churrasco at Barra Brasa will knock you out, so be sure to clear your schedule for the afternoon. Let Barra Brasa “ruin” you’re day!
