Description
With its blue and white interior, stepping into the lobby of this designer hotel feels like entering a yacht club. You are immediately greeted by the friendly staff, most of whom speak English. No room is the same with each floor having been designed by different, but renowned, decorators and architects from Brazil. The art design concept flows from the facade of the building right down to the appearance of the bathrooms. There is a fitness center including a few cardio machines as well as a Universal, which is located on the rooftop above the restaurant. There is also a jacuzzi and a sauna in the glassed-in rooftop gym area. The hotel is located one block from the beach in the southern part of Copacabana.
Insider Tips
The in-room Internet connection can be unreliable but there is a small business center in the lobby.

Drawbacks
- There are no rooms with direct ocean views and the hotel is not located directly on the beach, nor is there a pool.
