There are several souvenir shops and artisan stalls on the main road leading from the village to the beach. There is no shortage of flip-flops, bikinis and beachwear.. just ask yourself, will you really wear that Brazilian bikini at home?

Every evening there is an artisan market in the main square. You will also find vendors on the beach and a stand for those who want to entertain a henna tattoo.

Banks    
There are no banks on the island but there is a Banco do Brasil ATM in one of the supermarkets on the main road. Most of the pousadas and restaurants take credit cards.

Toiletries
Try to buy any amenities you may need before you arrive. Although there are markets and pharmacies here, you will pay a significant premium.
