Description
Pousada Algas Marinhas is well located in the Floresta Nova district right near Flamboyant restaurant, a very popular all-you-can-eat buffet, and only 5 minutes by foot from Flamboyant Park and the central Remedios Village.
Algas Marinhas is simple but cozy and well decorated by its owners Neide and Max who have lived on the island for over a decade and are constantly seeking new ways to keep it environmentally friendly. The pousada has received an award for its authenticity, which reveals simple touches and styles from Pernambuco.
Insider Tips
- Free Internet access is available at the front desk computer for quick emailing, as well as a CD burner for you to download photos from your digital camera after a busy day photographing the island.
- This is the only pousada on the island that has a ‘non-smoking’ policy.
Benefits
Algas Marinhas offers a bit more service and style than most of the 100+ budget pousadas on the island.
Drawbacks
This is not the place to come if you are a smoker since the entire pousada and its surroundings are smoke-free.
