Fernando de Noronha is an exclusive island whose visitor taxes and airline costs have made the island prohibitively expensive for most Brazilians to visit. As a result, the tourists who come here tend to be foreigners and wealthy Brazilians. Although there are a number of pousadas on the island, they tend to be very expensive, even for the most basic options.

I want to stay at the closest thing I can find to a hostel without staying in a group dorm.
