Description
Situated in the startling new Carlos Pulenta winery in Vistalba, La Bourgogne promises to become as famous as its sister eatery in the Alvear Palace, Buenos Aires. Already it has won the best restaurant of the world´s wine capitals. Not a bad start. It`s set amongst the vineyards in a stark, modernist, Incan style building with a wonderful view of the mountains. The French style menu includes a delicious pumpkin soup, veal ribs in Malbec sauce and a delicious rabbit dish, all served with impeccable taste and presentation. The wine list is still "under construction" but promises to be breathtaking and international. In the meantime, satisfy yourself with a Vistalba Corte B from the Carlos Pulenta cellars nearby. Average price for a meal without wine: 50-60 pesos. This review is courtesy of our partners at The Grapevine Argentina.
