“Gastronomy is the art of combining foods to produce happiness”. This motto forms the basis of Almacen del Sur, conceived specifically for those in search of a superior gourmet experience. Almacen del Sur is located in a beautifully restored, 19th century casona on a farm in Maipu, in the midst of wine country. This gourmet delicatessen offers a 5-course tasting menu, combining different flavors of their exclusive products. After your meal you are invited to take a guided tour of the farm and see how their products come to life. If you’re lucky you might get a chance to test yet-to-be-released products.

Almacen del Sur’s setting, amidst the Wine Roads of Mendoza, is breathtaking. You may find yourself in the restaurant’s gallery tasting pink rose marmalade, malbec jam or a green tomato dip, surrounded by the fields where the ingredients were cultivated. Jasmine scents emanating from the garden and birds singing in the background add to the extraordinary ambiance.

Fixed menu for AS$ 85. Wine is not included.

If you can’t make it out to the restaurant, watch for Almacen del Sur’s products sold in gourmet retail stores internationally. All of their spreads and preserves are created with ingredients that come straight from their garden.
