Description
Just a few steps from Plaza Italia, one of Mendoza’s many charming squares, San Lorenzo Apartments offers a good alternative for those seeking space without the higher prices of an apartment hotel. The hotel was first opened in 1998 and, in the fall of 2004, was expanded and renovated. Decor is minimal and you won’t find the stylish features a boutique hotel, however, it provides a clean and quiet atmosphere where you can relax after spending the day wandering through the vineyards.

The hotel itself is unexpectedly large with 32 rooms. The entrance has a small lobby with a nice lounge. There is also a mid-sized terrace on the roof with a small swimming pool that overlooks Plaza Italia. The hotel has a small gym, with a bike and some other machines to exercise if you wish. Parking is available on the ground floor.

Insider Tips
Make sure to ask for a room in the west side where the newer rooms were built.

This is a great option for those traveling with kids.

San Lorenzo’s Apartments are suitable for 2 to 6 people. The small apartments have a studio layout with a bed, a small sofa, a dining table for breakfast and a kitchenette all found within one room. Larger rooms (suited for 4 or more) have a small living room and separate bedroom. All bathrooms are spacious yet bare, with a shower, a couple of towels and a bath kit available. The decor throughout the apartments is plain and simple. Each kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, small refrigerator and a set of dishes. There is WIFI Internet access in every room.

Food
Continental breakfast is included, as is access to the gym and sauna.

Children
Great choice if you are traveling with a family and sticking to a budget.
