Despite its seclusion, the hotel is only a ten minute walk from the central Plaza Independencia.

Ask for a room on the first floor - they are in the best condition. Rooms overlooking the garden have the best views.

Enjoy a nice cup of coffee at Kato Cafe (Emilio Civit 556 – Tel: 425 7000), just four blocks from the hotel. Kato has a small terrace that overlooks Emilio Civit street and also offers WIFI Internet Access.

There are no obvious signs identifying La Escondida from other houses on the street so do take a look at the address in order to avoid getting lost.

Each of the seven rooms has been named after a grape variety cultivated in the nearby vineyards. Although each room has its own unique character, a polished white theme prevails. Rooms are tastefully decorated and spacious. Beds and pillows are comfy. Bathrooms are spacious and in some cases, have both shower and bathtub. Each room has A/C, heat and cable TV.

Food
A simple breakfast is served each morning at the communal breakfast room. It includes local pastries, cakes, baked bread, orange juice and coffee/tea.
