Description
This small and comfortable hotel boasts a marvelous view of Plaza Independencia and the famously adjacent Hyatt Hotel. Hotel Argentino was originally joined with Hotel San Marco (on it's right) and managed by two brothers who eventually decided to pursue different paths and divided the building in two. The left side became Hotel Argentino and was completely remodeled in 2002 acquiring a modern look that would differentiate it from its twin brother. Today the hotel is owned by a business man from Mendoza who resides in US. He has hired an extremely professional and helpful staff.

Hotel Argentino aims to provide comfort and customized service to its guests. Despite its French-styled façade, the interior reveals contemporary decor. The hotel has 46 compact rooms and a small terrace with a couple of chairs that surround a little small swimming pool. Next to the reception on the ground floor you will find Los Girasoles, the hotel's restaurant features amazing views that will invite you to gaze at Plaza Independencia’s picturesque setting.

If you don't mind a little bit of noise from the street, some of the rooms facing Plaza Independencia have quaint little balconies.

Head across the plaza to the Hyatt Hotel around 5:00 pm and you will be able to endulge yourself in tea time. For just A$25 you can enjoy an assortment of delectable cakes, scones, pastries and sandwiches with your tea / coffee and orange juice. If it's a sunny day ask for table on the terrace and enjoy the view of Plaza Independecia.

Hotel Argentino has 46 relatively compact rooms. Each room is equipped with a comfortable bed, a TV hanging from the wall, a wardrobe and a small bathroom. The decor is simple, generally consisting of a poster depicting local artwork. Executive rooms have WIFI and bathrooms with bathtub and hairdryer. All rooms have a safety box, Cable TV, telephone, a mini bar and AC.

Food
A buffet breakfast is served at Los Girasoles, the hotel restaurant. It includes homemade breads, cakes, local pastries, yogurt, fruits, scramble eggs, fresh cheese and jam and orange juice / coffee / tea.
