Description
Finca Adalgisa was born from the pursuit of one woman’s dreams. As a child, Gabriela Furlotti had spent endless summers playing in the vineyards surrounding the villa that is now Finca Adalgisa. Several years later, Gabriela had the idea of turning her grandmother's wine villa into a hotel to create what is today one of the most beautiful villas in Chacras de Coria. Thanks to Gabriela's passion for the area, guests can enjoy a cozy and welcoming stay in the midst of wine country.
Finca Adalgisa consists of two main buildings for accommodations, the Old House and the Stone House, as well as a private winery. The Old House has distinctive rural architecture with a reddish façade. This is where the lobby is located to receive guests. The Old House also has a comfortable living room, with sofas and a small gallery that leads to three guest rooms and finally to the dining room. The more modern Stone House was added to the property only a few years ago, when the villa was converted into a hotel. It is located in the backyard surrounded by vineyards. As its name suggests, it is built with grey stones, providing a rustic yet modern touch. A large gallery full of hammocks connects the various guest rooms of the house, which faces a large swimming pool.
Although the villa is known for its lovely accommodations, what distinguishes Finca Adalgisa is its private winery, where guests are invited to learn about the process of wine making. Each night around 7:00pm you are welcome to sample a tasting of the house wine accompanied by gourmet tapas that include fresh cheese and local jams, served in the winery's lounge. Here you can enjoy the incredible sunset in the vineyards
