Casa Glebinias

Argentina > Mendoza > Hotels > Casa Glebinias

Description
A rustic wooden gate welcomes visitors to Casa Glebinias’ hidden eden: a country lodge embraced by almost two acres of endless garden. Roses, irises, and 35 varieties of fruit trees grow under the care of Maria Gracia and Alberto Aristarian, the keepers and creators of this unique hotel. The couple come from Buenos Aires and, after spending time in France among other places, decided to settle in Mendoza, attracted by its beauty and climate. Casa Glebinias is located in Chacras de Coria, a small village located at the gateway of the Wine Road, an ideal location for those adventurous souls in search of Mendoza’s finest Malbecs.

The lodge consists of two cottages that can host up to 4 people, a third cottage with a loft layout and the main house where the Aristarian family lives. No detail has been overlooked in order to offer a private and homey environment. The lodge’s architecture was created in harmony with nature - each cottage was designed in keeping with the green landscape.

Casa Glebinias boasts an amazing pool where you can take shelter from Mendoza's Andean sun while you delight your palette with home grown strawberries. You can also take advantage of their “churrasqueria” to prepare your own barbecue. In the main house you will find a small library and a computer with Internet access.

Rooms
Each cottage is named after a different tree: Cipreses, Taxodium, Liquidambar and Acer.

Each cottage has been decorated with its own unique taste, while maintaining a rustic and elegant style. Special touches, such as the antique furniture that Maria Gracia finds in antique fairs refurbishes, and the flowers and books that decorate the rooms, create a personal atmosphere where guests can feel at home.

The bathrooms are spacious and tastefully decorated and, depending on the cottage, are equipped with either a bathtub or shower. Towels and basic toiletries are included.
