Description
Stepping into this sleek, polished restaurant you will first find a spacious, high-ceilinged living room with big, comfortable sofas, adjacent to a non-smoking area (a rare find in BA). Upon further pursuit you will discover the large granite bar, complimented by walls adorned with Felix Rodriguez lithography's. The space is a former mechanic's workshop, which has been stylishly recycled with elements reminiscent of both France and New York. Cluny's culinary offering is based on a brief, yet carefully chosen, Mediterranean lunch menu that matures into French cuisine at night and is inspired by Chef Zucarino's stint at the Ritz in Paris. Among the dinner plates of mention (average price P$45) are the Prawns Mornay (accompanied by couscous with shallots and pepper terrine), Fried centolla (spider crab), Patagonian lamb (perfumed with rosemary, served alongside sweet-potatoes glazed with port) and risotto (with spider crab cooked in port and cream). Desserts are extravagant - try the warm chocolate cake! One element that was not imported from France is the service, which is very good.
