This state of the art building is tucked away in a quiet, residential neighborhood in the heart of Recoleta, surrounded by lovely traditional buildings. A family of local architects who now own and operate Artsuites refurbished the building in 2001. There are 15 apartments in the complex.

Insider Tips
If there are no rooms available on the 'A' side, try to get a room on the 5th floor or higher for better views and more light. Suite 3b has a large balcony. Laundry and dry cleaning are available at no premium to the drycleaner's price. The B N Café on the corner is small but is great for light meals. It has wireless access and a few outdoor tables.

Drawbacks
There are two apartments on each floor. While those on the A side face the street and receive sunlight all day long, those on the B-side receive none at all - a shame given the cozy little decks

Rooms
The architectural geniuses behind this project have thought of everything. Each floor has both a Premium Apartment (2 bedrooms) and an Executive Apartment (1 bedroom). Each room comes equipped with cable TV, Internet access (no wireless yet), soundproof glass panes, whirlpool bath and a fully equipped kitchen (Premium even has a dishwasher).

Food
A continental breakfast of coffee with toasts and croissants is brought to your room each morning. There is a grocery store adjacent to the building if you decide to stay home and cook.

Children
Perfect for families and children. The second bedroom has two twin beds.
