Description
Widely considered one of the most elegant restaurants in Bariloche, El Patacon is famed for the sheer numbers of noteworthy guests who have passed by throughout the years, including former US president Bill Clinton, various European royalty and Argentine actors. Every guest here is treated like a VIP. As soon as you walk through the door your coat is taken and you are handed a glass of champagne to sip in the ‘living room’ with its stone hearth before dining. The large specially designed restaurant includes an extensive wine cellar and art gallery. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the trout marinated in orange vodka or the herb-incrusted venison. Expect to spend $A 75 per person.
