Description
Tenedor Libres, or ‘free fork’ (read: buffet) restaurants are always a good option for those with really big appetites or groups who can’t decide what they want to eat. Not only is there a buffet with every thing from sushi to salads to empanadas but a parilla (barbeque grill) where you can request as many servings of sausage, chicken and steaks as you want.
Like many tenedor libres, the decoration here is nothing special. In fact, the restaurant could use a paint job. What’s unusual about this tenedor libres is that the meat is cooked to perfection by a very experienced asador (grill chef). If everything else doesn’t fill you up there is an assortment of cakes, flan, custard and fresh fruit with cream or dulce de leche (sweet milk) for dessert. Dinner with wine and a bottle of water runs $A30 per person.
